Flora Tea, a wholesale and online tea retailer based in the U.K., is hoping to turn heads with its new label and packaging design, PackagingDigest reports.
The new package has an abstract picture of a flower on the front, along with the company's name. The unique aspect of the design is the closure on the top of the box, which is a series of four folded flaps that are held together by a circular sticker, giving the impression of a flower. Abstract Group, a U.K.-based design firm, was in charge of the new packaging.
"The physical design works very well; the floral design for the box resembles a closed flower and when the box is opened it looks like an open flower. The Trucard folding box board matched our needs in providing a good print surface and bi-directional folding," Simon Breeze, the sales and marketing director at Abstract Group, told the news source.
It's crucial that companies' labels and packaging reflect both the brand and the product they are selling. Colors, typography and terminology should all match the personality a company is trying to convey.
